My name is Robert (Bob) Mason
We are a family owned physical security agency in central Virginia, who provides services for the security industry. MSA provides more than 25 years of experience in the security industry to our clients. MSA specializes in preventative maintenance services, design consultation, & industry standard training. Our clients can count on our ETHICS to ensure the compliance of installations, services, & maintenance. As the President of Mason Security Agency, LLC, I'm proud to share my experiences and expertise for the security industry. I have been in the security industry for over 25 years. I have been providing Subject Matter Expertise for UL 2050 for the last 17 years.

As a UL 2050 certified company we will provide valuable services for the installations, services, & maintenance of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). We also provide Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, & Sound Masking.

SECURITY SOLUTIONS
Preventative Maintenance:
We specialize in inspection services to comply with UL 2050, UL 681, UL 827, & NFPA 731. These inspections are focused on the following installations: National Industrial Security Systems, Mercantile alarm systems, central station burglar alarm systems, & monitoring stations. We verify compliance for the installations of IDS either annually or semi-annually. These inspections entail reviewing the control units, communications, product NRTL listings, intrusion detection devices, tampers, wiring, conduit, junction boxes, etc.
Design Consultation:
MSA meets the needs of our client’s vision. We take pride in the designs of these systems to ensure reliability, stability, compliance, & performance. We will conduct plan reviews to establish compliance with industry standards.
Industry Security Training:
Our clients warrant our full protection with MSA’s inclusive UL 2050 & UL 681 training “Security System Compliance.” This training equips our clients with the knowledge to install, service, & maintain Intrusion Detection Systems for the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). They will know and understand the UL standards and the Government standards.
